"Since the original 1970 Z ® was introduced for the first time our goal was to keep the project going. Changes for 2013, although subtle, go a long way to improving its dynamic appearance, inside and out "said Al Castignetti, vice president and general manager, Nissan Division, Nissan North America, Inc.
As in 2012, the 2013 370Z Coupe and 370Z Touring Coupe is available with every-332 horsepower 3.7-liter DOHC V6 and a choice of standard six-speed manual or 7-speed automatic. The 2013 370Z Roadster and 370Z Touring Roadster will come with the same engine but with the 6-speed manual only offered with the Touring model (the 7-speed automatic is available with both).
The Nissan NISMO 370Z, a tuner-Z ® enthusiast dream, will once again be the crown of the lineup - offering outdoor and race-inspired interior styling, a specially modified suspension and unique super-lightweight forged alloy wheels. The 3.7-liter DOHC V6 is paired with a unique design H-configured exhaust, muffler tuning and optimized ECM (Engine Computer Module) control - the creation of 350 horses and 276 lb-ft of torque. Only one transmission is available, a first 6-speed manual with SynchroRev Match ® standard, which allows rev-matched heel-toe-like ascent.
